DEVIATION FROM THE PRINCIPAL OF CONFORMITY TO THE RULES IN THE HOLY QURAN

Abstract

The syntax, phonetics, rhetoric, language and exegesis originated from the Holy Quran. This dissertation deals with an important aspect of Quranic studies i.e. deviation from the principle of conformity in the Quran. By deviation from the principle of conformity, I mean conformity to the rules define by grammarians and lexicologists. The study of books relating to the science of the Quran like Al-Burhan by Zarkashi, Itqan by suyuti, drew my attention to the topic. So I decided to study the topic deeply. This is the first thesis which presents a comprehensive study of the topic. The old books concerning the topic are as under: Firstly: The books about main Al-Quran (meaning of the Quran) like of books Al-Farra, Al-Akhfash and Al-Zujaz. Secondly: The books about the declension of the Quranic words like Al-Tibyan of Al-Akbari and Al-Burhan and Al-Itqan. Thirdly: The books about readings of the Quran like Al-Mabsut in the ten readings of AbiBakar Ahmad b Hussain, Al-Mohtaisb of the jinni, Al-Kashf nanWujuh Al-Qiraat and Al-Tabsira Fil-Qirrat of the Abi-Muhammd Makki b Abi-Talib Al-Qaisi. Fourthly: Books about exegesis like Al-Kashf of Zamakhshri, Al-Moharrir Al-Wajiz of Ibn Atiyya and Al-Bahr Al-Mohit of Abi-Hayyan. Fifthly: Books about syntax like Al-Kitab of Sibwaih, Al-Muqtabhib of Al-Mubarrid and Al-Masail Al-Basriyyat of Abi-Ali Alfalsi. During our period
