Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop a model for elementary education in Pakistan . Study was delimited to the formulation of integrated curriculum in the subject of Urdu, Social Studies and Islamic Studies. Two questionnaires were developed (one for government colleges of education for elementary teachers and the other for government primary school teachers of the Punjab Province for collecting information for the present study. The questionnaire for elementary college teachers was prepared on a five-point scale. The final questionnaire was mailed to 35 functional government elementary colleges(Male and Female). Two teachers from each college were taken as a sample. The information so obtained was analyzed and interpreted in the form of mean score.
