Abstract The religion or Islam is not only a religion but also a complete code of life. It has universality in broad sense which appropriately covers almost all the aspects of life from each and every direction. That is why it is said to be a valid code of life from every definition for all the times including very past till far future i.e. till the Day of Resurrection. This thesis has been concluded to cover judiciary system exists in Pakistan in the light of Islamic judiciary system. Thesis has been divided into preface. five chapters conclusion and bibliography. First chapter comprises a detail or Islamic judiciary system. History of judiciary in perspective of different nations' and Islamic courts during different era has been discussed. The second chapter contains a detail regarding the aims and objectives of creation of Pakistan, its policies. constitutional-framework and the judiciary methods adopted from England. In the third chapter it has been tried to discuss the functionaries of civil and criminal courts and their sub-courts separately as well as collectively to justify their jurisdiction in the light of the approaches and limitations. The chapter also explains the procedure of trial and sentence according to the nature of the guilt. The chapter four encircles the efforts and necessary measure that have taken to transpire the existing judiciary system of Pakistan in accordance with the Islamic laws. The fifth and last chapter has been planned to specify merits and benefits of Islamic judiciary system, comparison of Pakistani and Islamic judiciary and its inevitability to encompass Pakistani judiciary system with Islamic Laws effectively in the prevailing global situation. In the last of the thesis a conclusion has been extracted from the findings and analysis of the two systems and a bibliography has been mentioned for ready reference.
