The study in regard to Research and comparing of selected ‚€œTafaseer‚€Ě of the subcontinent and Iran Shia Scholars Research Conducted by: Syed Asif Raza Zaidi Supervised by: Dr. Muhammad Hussan Rizvi The Attached article presents a review in regard to the ‚€œAscertainment‚€Ě or research work conducted by the famous Shia Scholars for ‚€œ Tafseer-e-Quran‚€Ě. The Shia‚€™s mostly depends upon the Muhammad (PBUH), his brother, the son ‚€“in ‚€“law, the bequeathed and the dexcendant Hazrat Ali (A.S), so for as the successors of Hazrat Ali (A.S) are concernd, they follow the conventions of Ahle-Bait, as well.
The arguments, are based upon the explanations of the worlds and the impliedmeaning of the ‚€œascertainments‚€Ě in fact the ‚€œTafseer‚€Ě , is to determine the external realities, after removing the ambiguities and then to fix the actual gist, meaning and the targeted affirmations.
Besides, the ‚€œTafseer‚€Ě also provide elucidation by converting the apparent meanings in to implied or proposed meanings, similarities to firmness and the actual circumstances under which the virses of Quran have been revelated.
In order to have clear vision of the Quranic verses, it is obligatory, that these verses should be investigated and compared with the similar verses of Quran, so as to determine the truth. It is virtuous and commendable to take prudent ascertainments, in the light of history and the narrations of Muhammad (PBUH). The ‚€œTafseer‚€Ě based upon self assertions, likings or disliking, or ambitions are only self opinions, which have strictly been prohibited by Islam.
It is quite obligatory and adviseable, that the scholar, who conducts the research work, must be an expert, in the faculties of Arabic literature and grammar, history and Islamic Narrations, Fiqah and principles of Fiqah, Repeals and abrogations, similries and fortifications to justfy the meanings of the Quranic verses.
After mentioning the Shia‚€™s books of Aadees, the second chapter, narrates the excellencies of Quran and the sayings of ‚€œMasomeens‚€Ě The Quran by virtue of its beneficent nature, provide juideness to guideless, righteous path to the mislead, bestows healing to physical and spiritual victims, Quenches, the thirst of desirous scholar, exalts the nobility of humanity and bestows, blessing and prosperity to each Muslim Orthodox.
The present and old Shia Scholars, considers, that the Quran is free from any alteration, suffixes and prefixes and belives, that all the verses of Quran were accumulated within the Era of Muhammad (PBUH).
The third chapter is proporationally, lengthy to some extent, because it explains the ascertained assertions of the Aima of Ahle- Bait. It also include the information in regard to those successors who were educated by the Aemma. It further provides an introduction and review of famous Shia ‚€œTafseer‚€Ě.
The fourth chapter notifies, the famous and selected Shia Tafseer boods and a comparing review, written by the Subcontinent and Iranian‚€™s Scholars, like ‚€œAlmizan‚€Ě of Alama Taba Tabaee, The ‚€œTafseer-e-Namona‚€Ě of nasir Makaram Shirazi, The ‚€œTafseer-e-Fasal-ul-Khitab‚€Ě of Indian Socholar Syed Ali Naqi Naqan, The ‚€œTafseer-e-Anwar-ul- Najaf‚€Ě, belonging to Pakistani Schoolar, Maulana Hussain Bukhsh.
The fifth chapter, enumerates the arguments and proofs, in regard to the style of Shia Tafseer, containing the Shia‚€™s beliefes, on the issues of immamat ‚€œRajaat‚€Ě Taqiya and Mutta, ascertained by the subcontinent and the Iranian Scholars. In the last the article contains, the Tafseer of Surra-Fatiha, in the perceptions of Brailvy, Dubandi, Ahle Hadees, Shia and Sofis Schools of thought, the consenting and contradicting, both views have also been highlighted thereby.
