Literature is related to Life & in the presence of Islamic Society how can we hold up its swing over literature. Literature in each & every period has been a mirror to its society. After the end of the period of story �€“talking Moulvi Nazir Ahmad was the first Novelist who took the reader out of the world of fancy towards the world of fact. Pandit Ratan Nath Sirshar was the first to follow the western pattern in novel writing. Fiction followed novels. It gained much popularity in the present age. In this thesis I have explained him novels, fictions & dramas have interpreted Islamic civilization & culture. The slogan of how Literature is �€œLiterature for Life�€�. It discuses with the fundamental problems of life, with hunger, poverty & social degradation. Urdu Literature undoubtedly was influenced by this slogan but it has not escaped from Islamic Values & Islamic Culture while discussing story, novel, fiction & drama. I have thrown light on the Culture state of affairs of this period & brought to time light the role of Islamic culture & civilization in fictional literature.
