Quran is a complete code of life, because it is the Holy Book which is not based upon speculation or Human's experiences. Human mind is still in the process of evolution and has not achieved completion. Secondly to study evolution or progress we need absolute knowledge and the only book which can possibly provide is in the absolute knowledge is the Quran. Allah says in the Holy Quran;
Translation: - ‚€œWith him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth What ever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall But with His knowledge: There is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered) But is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read). It is He who doth take your souls by night, And hath knowledge of all. That ye have done by day. By day doth He raise you up again; that a term Appointed be fulfilled; In the end unto Him will be your return, Thus will show you The truth of all That ye did‚€Ě.
Translation: - ‚€œSoon will We show them our sign in the (furthest) Regions (of the earth), and In there own Souls, Until It becomes manifest to them That this is the Truth. To reach these heights we have to show gradual progress mentally, Physically, Psychologically, emotionally and spiritually. This is possible only when we will study the Quran and search of the Jewel of intellect and wisdom from it. Quran invites all to follow its path because this is the only Absolute Truth (Haq). That is why I have chosen my topic to the Quranic concept of Psychology and its implementation in Modern era.‚€Ě
The base of my research is Quranic inscriptions, which will help us search Man's purpose and his limits in order get a clear picture of the truth.
This is the basic object of my thesis to give an insight into how human. Psychology is Perceived and Presented by the Quran? And other assumptions are‚€ž
1.Is the Qurani antle more Ideological or Practical? 2.Can Quranic Psychological ideology be implemented? 3.Is there any room for Jihad & Ijtehad in a acordance with the changing circumstances of different eras/ages? 4.Can this ideology bring a change in psychological sublimation? 5.Does this Ideology bear Universal value?
To find answers for the above assumptions I have divided my thesis into five chapter‚€™s, Along with Acknowledgement. Abstract, Preface, Importance and Conclusion, Conclusion is a summary of the whole thesis. In the end of the research work is the bibliography and the Index.
In connection of introduction about chapters the foremost element is ‚€œHuman Psycho-analysis in Historical Perspective.‚€Ě We will judge historically, views of scholar's, Present circumstances and human role's attitude by the standard of the Quran to elaborate disintegration of faith and Piety in the human psyche sense by him to understand the laws of nature and to honour the life of his stay in his world and to follow the path of wordly, eternal success and progress which is sirat-e-Mustaqeem. This parth is not only for success but also is a means of getting to Jannah. It is a vast ocean which benefits any body who wishes to benefit from it. This sense of knowing the truth is the fruit of my efforts and my work.
In the second chapter ‚€œThe Psychological base of the conflicts in the Human behaviour‚€Ě has been discussed in the light of the Holy Quran, which has resulted in different Ideologies of Present and the Past eras. Starting from the period of Hazrat Noah (P.B.U.H) and coming down to Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W), The Psychic Philosophy of the false idols has been viewed, so that we can get on to the right path Le., the path of Islam and to give a positive direction to the Muslims. Moreover, the study aims to positively direct the Muslims Psychology in Particular, and human Psychology in general. in the face of the growing materialization In the social and ideological scenario of the 21st century.
The 3rd chapter deals with ‚€œThe Will of Allah beyond the universe in Action: So that man knows that there is no will of his own involved in his creation. Nothing small or big in the universe is self created. The point to ponder is that the order will be of the Lord who is Eternal and Omnicient. This view has not been Superimposed, but the system of the universe, and everything with in its and the order of the Lord and its Principles have been discussed at length, To Show that Kun-Fayakun is the whole truth and not just a false assumption.
In the 4th chapter ‚€œCreation of the Psychic world and the Ouran‚€Ě, its nature, laws, implementations, characteristics, faculties and locus of the Psyche and Forms and its capacity have been explained. Psyche is the foundation of creation. Abstract evolutionary Principles have been explained, universal and human level‚€™s and how they can be improved at different levels of creation, so that nature of Allah, and nature of man could be understood, and human instincts could be harnessed. The Ouranic view of creation of man and his nature has also been given so that we can benefit by directing our capabilities in the right direction. Attempt has been made not to discuss the different kinds of fear rather how to rid your self of the fear‚€™s has been explained in the light of the Holy Ouran. Life is a conflict between good and evil, we can overcome it and achieve success only be knowing our own self and understanding knowledge of the Divine Power.
The topic of the fifth and the last chapter is that Absolute truth is the base of the psychological and the universal creation in which the meaning of Haq; its nature, implementation, principles and its levels have been discussed at length to find why it is important psychologically to have faith in Haq? For this purpose the new dimensions of the expansion of Haq have been discussed for understanding the miracles and wonders of the Holy Quran. The concept of Haq at different steps has been discussed and elaberated. So that we may know that this universe and its system is not merely spectacle, but working towards a goal. Man should keep striving with full heart and soul to straight path i.e., Sirat-e-Mustaqeem. So that attainment of this goal becomes possible. There is no reason why man cannot attain humanity if he makes a full hearted effort. Momin, if tries his utmost, can reach divinity and conviction. The fact that the latter is true is the basic object of my research.
For this research the main source i.e., The Quran, whose fertility, Absolute Truth and authenticity can never be denied by any scholar and it is a lasting challange till the doomsday.
