Abstract The quantum corrections to the quark-parton level matrix elements of lepton-nuceon (lp) scattering at short distance provoke azimuthal asymmetries in the final state of particle production. Including one – and higher-loop corrections. Where the gluon self coupling diagrams are also taken into account, the corresponding angular correlations are time-reversal-odd (T – odd). We present quantitative study of transverse momentum distribution of angular asymmetries in the semi-inclusive processes at tp collider at HERA through the exchange of electromagnetic and weak charged current. We also predict the asymmetries in the (2+1)-jet production at HERA where the asymmetries are larger as compared to the semi-inclusive processes. T- odd asymmetries and the other azimuthal asymmetries in the inclusive jet processes through virtual – current and the semi-inclusive processes through charged weak-current are comparatively larger than those in the semi-inclusive processes through the exchange of neutral current. We also investigate the process of harmonization of light quarks into the difference of charged pions and kaons. We extract the corresponding leading order (I.O) fragmentation functions (FFs) by analyzing the data from fixed target experiments for the production of charged hadrons in pd and pd scattering measured by EMC experiment. We use simple QPM ansatz for analyzing the data. We find, the obtained FF of quarks into the difference of charged pions agrees very well with the existing DIS data. The observed disagreement between our computed fragmentation function of quark into the difference of charged kaons requires precise analysis of the experimental data for wide range of kinematical variables.
