THE ROLE OF NGOS IN WOMEN’S RIGHTS IN PAKISTAN

Abstract

Role of NGO’s in Women’s Right in Pakistan. The vision and main focus of this is to evaluate the role of NGO’s in women’s right in Pakistan. It analyze the objectives of individual women’s rights organization. Scope and goals of Women Rights NGO’s and their validity in development of women’s programs. Organization and planning aspect of NGO’s. How did they involve women and their communities in planning to study their programs and achievement of programs and specific projects that are launched by the organizations and their impact on the beneficiaries In this study the researcher has studied 101 NGO’s which are operating in Pakistan and registered working for the women’s right The researcher has divided all the NGO’s in three categories Large size NGO’s accompanies 22 which are operating in four provinces of Pakistan and side by side they are covering more than three of services in women’s right Medium size NGO’s are 17 in number which are operating at least in three provinces and have more than two types of services in the field of women’s right Small size NGO’s which are 62 in number are operating in the only city level and casually work The study is consist of these chapters 1). The first chapter deals with statement of the problem which covers the following topics Introduction of the problem. Importance of women’s Right Organization for Women’s Development. Concept of Women’s Right. The concept of Children Right Women’s Right in View of Islam. Situational analysis of Women’s in Pakistan. Objective of the Study. Justification of the study. Key Concept and Hypothesis 2) The second chapter deals with review of the background literature which cover following topics Important Treaties and documents on Women’s Right. Important Conferences on Women’s Right. Role of NGO’s in Women’s Rights. Development and in Law Reformation in Muslim Countries Role of Government of Pakistan in Women’s Rights and The Crimes against Women and Children in Pakistan 3) The chapter third is about methodology of the study which indicate that from where information about NGO’s has taken and Developed of questionnaire which has been mailed to respondent NGO’s 4) The chapter four is about presentation and analysis of data. Case studies of five NGO’s are discussed in detail Bar graph, graph chart pi diagram are used for analysis of the data. In this chapter description about testing of hypothesis is also presented 5) The chapter five deals with Conclusion & Summary of the data recommendations is also for the development and uplift of the role of the women right NGO’s. A sample format for model NGO’s is also designed 6) In the end of the study several appendices are also attached e.g questionnaire which had maild to respondent NGO’s bibliography and list of references which is used in text
