Abstract The aim of this study was to analyze the role of NGO’s in rural development in district Badin and its impact on the quality of life of the area. The study identifies the awareness. Acceptance and impact of the process of Social change. It also attempts to bring out relationship between the people of the community and NGO’s. It assumes that such a relationship could explain the significant influence of social and economic attributes in the attainment of social change (Community Development and income improvement) The study is divided into five chapters. Chapter one of the study defines the objectives and scope of the investigation. Chapter two is concerned with the exposition of the theoretical frame work and conceptual approach to the problems. Chapter three describes the methodology including drawing of study sample, data collection method of analysis and methodological limitations. Chapter four describes the analysis of data and its interpretation and the testing of hypothesis. Chapter five diescribes conclusions arising out of analysis of the data of the study. Some recommendations are added and suggestions for further studies are also given The three hypotheses tested the relationship of : 1. Economic constraints are the major cause of agricultural deficiencies 2. Lack of technical know how cause low yield of crops, and 3. NGO have a role in availability of loan for cultivation The programme was analyzed by taking a random sample of 376 villagers / farmers. The data was collected through an interviewing schedule which contained three parts. The questions of first part consisted of background of the respondents. The second part dealt with quality of life (Living health and Educational situation) and the third part dealt with NGO’s work locality. The questions of second and third part also dealt with testing of the hypothesis The analysis of the data consisted of two parts. First simple tabulation was made on the background of the respondents showing frequencies and percentage by simple (univariate) tabulation, second, chi square method was used to test the hypotheses for significant relationship. All the three hypotheses were accepted at 0.05 level of significance Then the conclusions and recommendations were followed. In conclusion the recommendations were made. In briefs, these recommendations dealt with replication of programme in other communities
