Abstract The detailed morphology of the eggs, immature stages, and the external morphological characters of the head, thorax, abdomen and the male and female genitalia of the families stenocephalidae, Rhopalidae, Alydiadae and Coreidae is described, discussed and illustrated with reference to their bearing on higher classification of the super family corcoides Distant (1902,1908,1948) in difference volumes of the Fauna of British India, Ceylon and Burma recorded and described fifty-two genera from the sub-continent belonging to the families now included in the super family Coreoidea wherein only twenty genera were recorded from the areas included in Pakistan together with the overlapping areas in Indian assam and west Bengal In the present studies forty two genera are recorded and described from Pakistan. Twenty genera are new records including ten palaeurctic and one Ethiopian genus Two new genera are described: Paranotocoris under the tribe phyllomorphini, family Coreidae and Pseudelyorhyssus in the family Rhopalidae. Four new species are described : Pseudolyorhyssus platicornis under the family Rhopalidae. Paranotocoris echinus, Centrocoris orientalis and Fracastorius ahmadi under the family Coreidae. The description of several new species are with-held for more material is awaited for their confirmation The present studies are undertaken with the hope to fill in the gaps considering the latest approach and trends in morphology and systematics and the results are with the findings reported in the existing literature and on the basis of these charsters already existing phylogenetic ochemes are briefly discussed
