Abstract Alimentary organs, and salivary apparatus of seven common representatives from various localities of Pakistan are described in detail. Biology, egg and immature characters of two species i.e. of Riptortus linearis (F.) and Mriperus gilgitensis sp. n. are studied but presently detailed description of one species is given (because of R. linearis (F.) has already been given by Shadab 1972 with illustrations) and the polarity of some of the above characters are analyzed on the basis of out-group comparison with those of Coredoidea and Trivhophora at large in order to construct a cladogram of the included taxa. |
