Abstract
Eighty eight species belonging to six lower pentatomoid families viz. acanthosometidae, urostylidae form the areas of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and Bangladesh (former east Pakistan) representing eighteen tribes and forty genera including eight genera and fifty five species newly recorded and 24 species representing 2 tribes and 3 genera as new are described and keyed with special reference to their metathoracic scent gland satiate and male and female genitalia.

In the light of the above data a tentative scheme showing the relationships of the included taxa is also given.
